Hannah Fisher — Start-up drinks lab

Tuesday 21st May 2019

Ibrox Suite, Ibrox, Glasgow

Hannah Fisher is an award winning young entrepreneur whose experience of launching a new business in Scotland in recent years should prove both entertaining and informative to our members.

Hannah grew up in Glasgow and studied Joint Honours Marketing & Finance at Strathclyde University.

In 2017, she co-founded The Start-Up Drinks Lab with her fellow Director Craig Strachan. The two originally met at the Entrepreneurial Spark in 2016 where both were launching their own drinks companies but finding a shared problem – there was no suitable facility in Scotland to help them develop, test and manufacture their products.

The company has gone from strength to strength winning numerous awards along the way including Scottish Enterprise Collaboration Prize Winners in 2017 and Unlocking Ambition Challenge Winners 2018.

At their recently opened Port Glasgow facility, the company offers an end-to-end service, including small batch bottling, product development, manufacturing, packaging, storage facilities and assistance with finding and creating routes to market for soda, mixers, beers and cider producers.
