John Charlick: Clyde Space

As the Head of Projects at Clyde Space, John leads and coordinates a highly skilled team of project managers and is responsible for delivery of all customer orders.

John reports to the Head of Operations and ensures each and every customer receives effective updates and communication throughout their project.

John gained his project management experience working in the Mobile Communications sector with industry trailblazers Nokia and Motorola, working on the iconic handset models of the early 2000’s and creating the technology for the 3G network infrastructure. John obtained a Bachelors Degree in Physics and Electronics from the University of Glasgow and a Masters Degree in Communications, Control and DSP from the University of Strathclyde.

John is experienced in hardware product development from his time in Mobile Communications and IT service delivery and service management from his roles in Financial Services. He has worked on many of Clyde Space’s key projects, including the company’s first mission and Scotland’s first satellite, UKube-1.
