When Duncan Cameron retired as Scottish manager of American Airlines, he had no idea that he would soon be travelling the world again, this time as a popular after-dinner speaker and presenter. A superb speaker and hilarious raconteur, Duncan has entertained audiences all over the United States, Canada, Europe and the Middle East. He is also an excellent host and master of ceremonies and is fast becoming one of the most sought-after names on the circuit.

Duncan is also a talented comic actor/singer, with nearly 40 years experience of amateur dramatics, He has performed in numerous Gilbert & Sullivan productions and won 2 major awards at the Waterford International Amateur Musical Festival in Ireland.

Having been a regular presenter on Radio Clyde 2, where he won a coveted Sony gold award, Duncan was invited to join the start-up team at Saga radio 105.2 FM in Glasgow. He went on to host his own regular show ‘Pure Nostalgia’.

A past president of Hamilton Burns Club, Duncan Cameron is a supreme Burns performer, travelling the world to host all manner of Burns Suppers and deliver his unique ‘Toast Tae the Lassies’ and ‘Immortal Memory’.

Educated in Lanark, Motherwell, Aberdeen and France, Duncan is multilingual and fluent in French. He can even order ‘mince and tatties’ in Italian and Spanish. He is also a keen golfer and an enthusiastic member of Hamilton golf club, struggling to hold on to a handicap of 17.

Duncan is married to Margaret, a retired head teacher and has 3 married children and 8 grandchildren.
