AGM—not such a serious business!

Guest speaker and comedian Iain Gordon entertained 90 Glasgow Business Club members and guests at their final meeting of the season on Tuesday 24th June.

His dead pan expression and comedic delivery had the audience laughing their heads off. A fitting way to end our meeting and the formal subject matter of an AGM!

AGM Business Membership now stands at 120. Club President Norman Ferguson stepped down after 2 years and handed over the reigns John Stevenson. John said that the business club continues to offer the best value for money membership around with fees again this year remaining at £170.

Treasurer Alan Haldane, reported a healthy position. His report and that of Secretary Angela Samson had been emailed to members well in advance of the AGM.

One new member was voted onto the committee, Craig Paris of Arthur J Gallagher.

The new session starts on Tuesday 23rd September 2014 at 12 noon in Celtic Park.
