June Lunch with James Lang, Scottish Leather Group Ltd

A sixth generation leather manufacturer. Age 57, James joined the Group in 1978. He is currently responsible for the group’s external relations. Lives in Kilmacolm, Renfrewshire. Additionally, he is Chairman of the UK Leather Federation, Chairman of the Scottish Textile and Leather Association, Chairman of the Scottish Government Textile Industry Leaders Group, a member of CBI Scotland Council and Chairman of the charity P3 – Providing for People in Paisley.

James is a trustee of two leather industry trusts and a Court Assistant of the Worshipful Company of Leathersellers’, London.
