We are delighted to bring you a fine Burns ‘double act’ Iain White and Drew McKenzie
When:
Tuesday 26th January 2021 11 am – 12.30 pm
Iain White
A true friend of Glasgow Business Club. A head teacher for over 25 years, Iain now heads up Iain White Creative Leadership and advises organisations, writes and delivers keynote addresses and other speeches. A much sought-after speaker, he has great experience, having performed at over 200 events. Speaking has taken him from the Isle of Man to the Isle of Bute, Bearsden to Bo’ness and Southport to South Queensferry. He has spoken at dinners in Holyrood Palace, Mount Stuart House, Royal Birkdale Golf Club, The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and the Upper Port Glasgow Social Club.
Drew McKenzie
A butcher to trade and has been involved in the meat trade for over 45 years. He runs the business that was founded by his grandfather in Port Glasgow. He also serves on Inverclyde Council representing Port Glasgow and Greenock East. He involves himself with the regeneration of the area and currently chairs the Port Glasgow Regeneration Forum. He has an honest love of the works of Robert Burns and has spoken at Burns Suppers throughout Scotland and beyond! He has always been a regular attender at Cappielow Park, the home of Greenock Morton Football Club, and for that he deserves your sympathy.
